Sustainable Social Development and Democratic Governance
In the 21st-century, the principle of democracy expands beyond the political system into the realm of social governance. There is a growing need for fundamental democratic reform of society to resist discrimination, specifically in terms of gender, race, and occupation. Considering this need, there is an increased emphasis on employing the multi-stakeholder model for new governance in creating a mature democratic society. It is now more crucial than ever to implement this procedure of collecting consensus from all active participants in society, including companies and citizens.
This subunit discusses social issues by bringing together everyone from within and outside the university’s borders from the perspectives of political science, law, economics, and commerce. By constructing a new democratic society in the 21st century, the subunit aims to create a sustainable global environment that exists in harmony with human dignity.
